The film is set to release on September which also happens to be the release date of two more women centric films viz., Kareena Kapoor’s ‘Heroine’ and Preity Zinta’s comeback vehicle ‘Ishq In Paris’.

“‘English Vinglish’ is a very special film for me because it marks the comeback of Sridevi, possibly one of the greatest performers. It was written and discussed keeping Sridevi in mind,” Balki told IANS adding, “She plays a simple woman who struggles with English language.

However, post marriage, the pretty actress comfortably settled into the confines of her home and family after her last release “Judaai” in 1997. Actress Sridevi at one time ruled Bollywood after delivering a number of superhits like “Sadma”, “Chandni” “Chaalbaaz”, “Mr.India” and “Lamhe”.
